By Road:
Less than an hour from the M1, M62, and A1. Using the post code YO13 9PA in Satnavs will bring you to The Grapes pub on the main road A170. With pub on your right-hand side (as if you were heading to Scarborough), you’ll find Chestnut Cottage is the last house in a row of cottages on the left-hand side of the road, about 150m away, just before a
field. You can turn up our steep(ish) drive for parking at the rear of the cottage, or park in the layby in front of the house.
